My Goals in 101.

I am the kind of person that isn't comfortable with my writing. If i ever do feel like I've done a decent job on a paper, as soon as I read someone else's paper I second guess my own paper and think I did awful. I have very little confidence in myself and what I am capable of doing. Since I'm going to be submitting a lot of papers for the whole class to read, I need to get over my fear and become comfortable with my own work. That is one of my goals for the year.

Also, when I write a paper, I have a lot of trouble just figuring out where to start. Once I get going I usually get going at a good pace and I can get a lot done, it's just the problem of starting my paper, and how to start it. It's hard for me to organize my thoughts and facts for my papers in and orderly matter so i can start and finish a paper successfully.

Maybe I would feel more confident and do a better job on my papers, if it was something i enjoyed and was passionate about. If it was something I liked I would want to write my paper well so others would understand where I'm coming from and why I like it so much, and maybe they would like it too.

So my goals for the year are to become a better write and be comfortable and happy with my own work.
