ishmael beah
I cannot imagine going through the things Ishmael Beah went through at that age or even at any age. It would be awful to see the ones you love die all around you, that would be so horrible, you would be all alone. I wouldn't be able to think quickly to try to save myself from danger so I would probably end up dying too. I honestly would probably want to because it would be awful to have to go on through out the journey without my family.

Thanks for sharing. You might think about a "journey" that you have gone through before (or are going through now...like college) during which your family helped you.
