visual analysis
Monday morning we turned in our visual analysis papers we were assigned to write. I, honestly, really enjoyed writing this paper and when I was done with it, I felt I had achieved the goal of the paper and was more than happy to turn it in. It was a whole different way of writing, and looking at things. I wrote about the elementary school I attended, Pine Village Elementary. This new way of writing made me realize a lot of things and brought out some aspects of the school that I hadn't noticed until I really took a good look. Usually when we write about something, we do all the research in books and on the internet, but when you do it visually, you see another side. The experience of this kind of writing was helpful. I don't think I've ever sat down and really analyzed something like that, and that hard. I took in every element of the school, inside and out, and saw a different picture than I had before. This project was a fun one to do after the horrible one we had previous to this.

I'm glad the visual analysis worked so well for you. It's a good experience in observation, which is important in research.
