When I read this article about the prison, I was in shock. I cannot believe that they are making these people live this way. I mean granted they have all done horrrible things but that doesn't mean they should be forced to live this way. Something needs to be done. Either they need to build more space for these prisoners or the prisoners need to be moved to other facilities, but living in these cramped situations isn't right.
When they mentioned the idea of letting the prisoners go because they didnt have room for them, that idea scared me. That is the LAST thing that should be done. Even though the living conditions are crap, they still deserve to serve their time for the crimes they have commited.
Also, more schooling needs to be given to the prisoners. There aren't enough classes for them or vocational things for them to do. They will need to become respectable members of society when they get out but how can they if someone doesn't teach them how to be, because its obvious they lack that part since they're in prison in the first place. Someone needs to step up and help these people.
